REPORTS TO: Communications Lead
Babylon Migrants Project is looking for a Creative Campaigns & Comms Coordinator to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining creative communications, campaign development and project coordination. You’ll work across our new advocacy project and Babylon’s wider communications, helping bring ideas to life through visual content, storytelling and creative campaigns.
We’re looking for someone with experience in creative communications and graphic design, who can work independently, take initiative and bring their own ideas to the team. You’ll be working closely with young people from refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant backgrounds, so an understanding of how to work thoughtfully and collaboratively is important.
About Babylon
Babylon Migrants Project is a grassroots arts organisation led by and for young people from refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant backgrounds.
Through our creative hubs in London and Stoke-on-Trent, we bring young people aged 16–30 together through the arts, helping them develop creative skills, build support networks and find connection as they navigate life in the UK.
As we approach our fifth anniversary in 2027, we're entering an important new chapter. We're developing our advocacy work, creating new opportunities for young people to shape conversations about migration and working towards registering as a charity. This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a part in shaping how we communicate our work.
The role
This is a varied, hands-on role combining creative communications, graphic design and campaign development. You'll support our new advocacy project, working with young people to develop creative campaigns and share their ideas, while contributing to Babylon's wider communications across social media, our website and newsletter.
We're looking for someone with experience in creative communications and graphic design, who can work independently, bring their own ideas and work thoughtfully with our community.
Lived experience of migration, displacement or the asylum system is an essential requirement for this role.
