Refugee Week 2026: Our exhibition in Stoke-on-Trent

For Refugee Week 2026, our Stoke group hosted an exhibition of works made throughout the year. Collaborating with ACAVA Spodeworks, the group exhibited ceramic works, textile pieces, prints and drawings all exploring the theme of courage, this year’s official theme for Refugee Week.

There was a space to leave notes celebrating the exhibition and courage:

“An absolute triumph of an exhibition. I’ve loved the variety of expression and visual stories being told.”

“Your work is fabulous, a credit to you all. Let’s be humankind.”

A huge thank you to our Stoke hub coordinator Natasha McHugh for organising, our brilliant guest artists and facilitators Jasdeep Sandhu (forij.uk) and Sarah Fraser, and our Babylon volunteers Samson, Mohaned and Betel.
